The first 2 races in 2014 and 2015 were a great success and raised several thousand pounds for the British Heart Foundation and next years date and venue has had to be changed FROM May 16th at Leeds toLATER IN THE YEAR, hopefully in October at a fantastically challenging venue 5 minutes from J36 of the M1 near Sheffield. The terrain chosen is as challenging as the obstacles and you will feel each mile of the 6 mile course. Negotiations with 3 parties/ landowners are hopefully coming to a close and expect some cracking obstacles and a ‘dunking’ or two along the way.
The new hopeful course has again been designed by the Yorkshire based Commando Fit instructional team with an objective to ensure it is tough enough to challenge the hardiest and fittest of competitors and teams whilst still being fun for everybody and therefore also be suitable for newbies on their first ever Mud Run; tough but do-able. Some of the new obstacles have been designed with the true Commando Fit spirit and Royal Marine obstacles in mind.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to push yourself against the clock, tackling ALL the obstacles designed by Commando Fit; a team of ex- military Physical training instructors. You’ll be put through your paces as you battle and drag yourself over, under and through a series of military style fun and challenging obstacles.
If you think the 10-12km course will be easy and Believe you can Achieve completion and not collapse at the end, think again. Watch for the sting in the tail in the final stages though. You’ve been warned.
MEDALS, T SHIRTS and ELECTRONIC CHIP TIMING all included with entry fee.
All participants are offered TWO FREE Yorkshire Mud Race Training Camp sessions available at ANY Commando Fit training venue in Yorkshire in set dates once the new date and venue has been confirmed: BOOK A FREE CAMP SESSION.
